Conversations about identity, faith, and justice can feel overwhelming, even impossible. Yet these are exactly the conversations that open pathways to deeper understanding and stronger communities. I guide individuals and groups through these challenging dialogues with compassion, structure, and tools that create real change.
My approach is grounded in extensive training and facilitation experience: I am a graduate of two Bridging the Gap cohorts with Interfaith America, and have trained both with Resetting the Table and the NewGround dialogue models (including an in-person intensive and ongoing cohort training on Israel/Palestine conversations).
I’ve facilitated dialogue in diverse contexts—from supporting staff on 10 college campuses in post-October 7 conversations, to co-leading One America Movement interfaith dialogues, to participating in the NY Global Spiritual Center’s five-day training on interfaith facilitation. Each of these experiences informs my ability to hold space for dialogue across difference.
Sample Offerings:
My offerings include one-on-one coaching to build confidence in navigating difficult conversations, cohort-based learning that equips groups to expand their outlook and promote systemic change, or consulting for synagogues and Jewish organizations ready to foster a culture of meaningful dialogue.

“Rabbi Sara Zacharia is a remarkable leader in the field of interfaith relationship building. Her guidance is invaluable in navigating the complexities of interfaith dynamics on campus, ensuring that students thrive in their efforts to foster understanding and collaboration. Throughout Rav Sara’s career, she has created a welcoming and inclusive environment where students from diverse faith communities feel safe and comfortable coming together. Her leadership is exemplified through the development and guidance of an interfaith fellowship, which garnered funding from Hillel International, a testament to her innovative approach and dedication.”
